RIPARIAN BUFFER PROJECT & TREE PLANTING INITIATIVE

ALCA has received a grant of 300 native trees, 60 native bushes and planting supplies (estimated value of granted items: $10,149.98) through the Keystone 10 Million Tree Project, aimed at enhancing local environmental health. This project focuses on improving stormwater control, filtering impurities from runoff, and stabilizing the shorelines throughout our community. Native trees and shrubs have been selected for optimal survival potential in ALCA’s environment. They will be planted/distributed in phases to enhance both public spaces and private properties. To read more about this project and the Action Plan and to register to plant trees on your ALCA property or volunteer for this initiative, please visit www.arrowheadlakepa.net/riparian-buffer-project.
