Lakes

Arrowhead Lake and North Arrowhead Lake are two of the most valuable assets to our community. Arrowhead Lake is 235 acres while North Arrowhead Lake is 86 acresBoth lakes are the centerpiece of our summer and winter recreational activities and support:

  • Boating: Canoes, kayaks and paddleboards can be rented.
  • Fishing: Ages 16 and older require fishing licenses for our lakes. Fishing licenses can be purchased at the Welcome Center or online here. The opening day for trout in PA is April 6, 2024 and Mentored Youth Trout Day is March 30th.  Youth anglers must obtain a free Mentored Youth Permit OR a Voluntary Youth Fishing License ($2.97) from the PA Fish & Boat Commission (obtained from www.huntfish.pa.gov). The free permit can only be obtained by creating an account for the youth on the website.
