Nature Trail – A moderately level trail through the northeast woods to see blooming spring and summer flowers. The mountain laurel should be at peak.
Directions: Go north on Locust Ridge Road to Buck River Road. Turn right to Clifton Beach Road, continuing on Clifton Beach Road to Phillips Road. Go 1.5 miles on Phillips Road and turn left on Route 507. Go 0.6 miles to State Park Road and turn right. Go all the way to the last parking area (4th Parking Lot) near the lake and boat rentals where we will meet the group. The 4th parking lot is all the way at the far end of the park road to the left at the T and all the way down to the lake where the boats are launched. You have to pass the three other parking lot turns first. See you next week.
