Meeting to learn about Election Committee Roles & Committee Member Responsibilities

During the March 4, 2023 Board meeting, the 2023 Election Standard Operating Guideline and Events Schedule were approved. The ALCA Board is now recruiting members to serve on the 2023 Election Committee. We are asking interested members to submit a statement of interest and indicate if you are willing to serve as Chair, Vice Chair, or Secretary. Please forward the statement to [email protected] by Wednesday, March 29, 2023.

As stated in the 2023 Election Process Standard Operating Guideline, there are three scheduled meetings regarding the Committee:

• An Informational Session on Saturday, March 25 at 1 p.m. to learn about the responsibilities and activities of the Election Committee.
• A MANDATORY kickoff meeting on Saturday, April 29 at 9:30 a.m. only for those members selected to serve on the Election Committee. You must be available to attend this meeting in order to serve.
• A MANDATORY in-person meeting on June 17 at 9:30 a.m. to verify candidate petitions.

The Informational and Kickoff meetings are held in the Welcome Center Lower-Level conference room and via Zoom. The Board will appoint up to 9 members to serve and will appoint the Chair, Vice-Chair, & Secretary.  Committee membership will be approved at the April 8th Board Meeting.
